Rendel is the Finnish superhero film that was premiered in 2017, directed by Jesse Haaja. The film is based on the superhero created by Haja himself, Rendel. The main part of the film is performed by Kris Gummerus, Matti Onnismaa, Rami Rusinen and Renne Korppila. Other parts include Alina Tomnikov, Tero Salenius, Aake Kalliala, Anu Palevaara and Kristina Karjalainen.
The Rendel film produced at a budget of 1.45 million was filmed for 50 days in autumn 2015 and in spring 2016. The film was filmed in Kajaani, Mikkeli, Varkaus, Helsinki, Sotkamo, Kuopio and Puolanka.
The film's "Wonderman" is presented by The Rasmus.
The film won the Best Motion Picture Award at the Feratum Film Festival in Mexico in October 2017. The film is also seen at the Razor Reel Flanders Film Festival in Belgium at the end of October 2017.
