White House Won't Answer If Trump Thinks 'Access Hollywood' Tape Is Not Authentic

During a press briefing on Monday, Sarah Huckabee Sanders declined to answer if President Trump thinks 'Access Hollywood' tape is not authentic.
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Monday was reluctant to say whether President Trump believes the infamous "Access Hollywood" tape is authentic or fake.
Her skirting of the subject follows a report in the New York Times that stated Trump had told both a Senator and, more recently, an adviser that the tape was not real.
Notably, when it surfaced back in October 2016, Trump apologized for his lewd suggestions, but also tried to minimize them by calling the banter "locker room talk."
When asked at Monday's press briefing to clear up the confusion about which Trump view is true, Sanders said the situation, "was litigated and certainly answered during the election by the overwhelming support. He's made his position on that clear at that time, as have the American people."
That response was followed by the question, "He apologized for it, which would seem to acknowledge its authenticity and that position hasn't changed?"
"The President hasn't changed his position. I think if anything that the President questions, it's the media's reporting on that accuracy," Sanders commented.
When asked about clarity on the "accuracy" mentioned, Sanders said, "I said what he didn't like and what he found troubling were the accounts that are being reported now."
