Kate Middleton‘s uncle punched his wife after a boozy night out – and admitted it!
As As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the Duchess of Cambridge’s uncle Gary Goldsmith knocked out his wife Julie-Ann Goldsmith after a drunken argument in London.
The couple had left a charity auction at a private members’ club in October when they climbed into a cab and started to fight.

The cab driver stated that Julie-Ann slapped Gary across the cheek and he returned the abuse by hitting her with a “left hook, ” according to the prosecutor. Gary admitted he pushed his wife hard with his left hand, but denied using a hook.
After the attack – which occurred in front of a terrified taxi driver – left Julie-Ann, 47, unconscious as she fell to the ground. She was taken to the hospital for treatment following the punch but was released soon after.
“Mrs Goldsmith has then fallen backwards,” taxi driver Daniel Shepherd told authorities. “She appears to be unconscious, she isn’t moving.”

After seeing his wife laying on the ground unconscious, Kate Middleton’s uncle allegedly began crying and trying to help her get back up. The taxi driver reportedly challenged Gary, 52, after witnessing the attack, but he became very aggressive.
According to authorities, the two were very drunk at the time and were likely arguing about Gary’s alleged cocaine use.
Gary, who is worth almost $40 million, attended both Kate, 35, and sister Pippa’s weddings. He is their mother’s younger brother and a close family member to the Duchess. This Tuesday, he admitted one charge of assault by beating.

The maximum penalty for his crime is of six months imprisonment, yet he will likely just face community service.
