Children enjoy Hamleys Toy Parade on Regent Street in London

Regent Street in central London was closed to traffic on Sunday as toy shop Hamleys staged their Christmas Parade.

Dozens of different children’s favourites, elves and marching bands made for a carnival of Christmas fun (even though it's still November).

Hamleys is the oldest and largest toy shop in the world.

Founded by William Hamley as "Noahs Ark" in High Holborn, London, in 1760, it moved to its current site on Regent Street in 1881.
