Ep. 27. More Pulp, News Strip, and Old Movie Star precursors to Comic Books by Alex Grand

We had episodes devoted to the Pulp Magazine Precursors, and another to Newspaper Strip precursors and again another on the Old Time Movie Stars that all inspired Golden Age Comic book creators to make the Comic Book stories, characters, covers and choreography that we all know today. This episode is a sequel to all 3 that pulls together some random tidbits left out of these previous episodes, a CBH video sequel that goes over more territory in all 3 media. We go over Odd John, Dick Tracy, Flash Gordon, Tarzan, the film, Man Who Laughs with Conrad Veidt, and Fred MacMurray's inspiration of Captain Marvel, Shazam by C.C. Beck.
