Jake and the Never Land Pirates is an Annie Award-winning musical interive animated Disney Junior show based on the successful Disney franchise, Peter Pan that was in turn based on the famous book and play by British author J.M. Barrie. The show revolves around a group of three children; Jake, Izzy and Cubby who are pirates in Never Land looking for treasure. Their main obstacles are Captain Hook, Smee, and Tick-Tock the Crocodile from Disneys Peter Pan franchise. Captain Hook usually sees Jake and his crew doing something fun and steals it from them, and Jake and his crew have to get it back. After they succeed, Jake and his crew count their gold doubloons (which they receive after solving puzzles, or pirate problems) and put them in their treasure chest known as the Team Treasure Chest.\r
The first season of thefollowed more playful conflicts such as, Jake and the crew getting their basketball back from Captain Hook, or Jake and the crew taking back their stolen skateboard. The second season gave a larger scale to the adventure in the show, now having the charers find a lost city of gold, and an ancient pirate pyramid.\r
Izzy is a cute, young pirate girl who has the ability to fly due to her Pixie Dust given to her by Tinker Bell and the other fairies. She is beautiful and just as adventurous as Jake and Cubby. She loves puzzles, music, and of course singing and dancing. She seems to be the brightest member of the trio. She treats animals like her own children and cares for them. She is also part of Jakes crew on their pirate ship Bucky.\r
Izzy treats Cubby like a sibling and cares for him deeply. She thinks of Jake as an older brother and more than a friend at the same time. Izzy shares some traits with Tinker Bell most notably her feisty attitude. Izzy believes that with only price will you achieve a goal showing that shes a hardworking and strong willed pirate.\r
Jake treats Cubby much like a little brother and Izzy like a sister more than a friend. Jakes also has a pet sidekick, his parrot Skully. Jake is the captain of a buccaneering ship named Bucky and sails places with his crew.\r
Jake is a natural born leader, handsome, fearless, caring, and daring who cares very much for his crew and ship and is easily annoyed by Captain Hooks schemes as is the rest of his crew. In spite of their rivalry however, Jake has saved Hooks life a few times most notably in Captain Hook is Missing! where he saved Hook from falling to his death in Belch Mountains lava pit.\r
Jake also had a mermaid friend named Marina, whom has a crush on him (according to her voice ress Ariel Winter). In theJakes Starfish Search, Captain Hook kidnaps Marinas pet starfish and unlike most of the other times Hooks nabbed certain things.\r
