Over 600,000 people have reportedly signed up for Obamacare insurance plans in 39 states for 2018 during the first week of enrollment. The signups come Donald Trump recently made financial cuts to the subsidized insurance program that are expected to hurt 2018 enrollment. According to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, a division of the Department of Health and Human Services, the sign-ups occurred during the period of November 1 through November 4. Enrollment for 2018 plans, which began on November 1, will runs through December 15.
