On the Final Raw Show, Randy Savage beat Eddie Guerrero for what would become the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.
The Number One Contender for the Title was disputed between joint battle royal winners; Rob Van Dam and Randy Orton, and self proclaimed Number One Contender Shawn Michaels. With RVD leaving Souled Out and HBK out of favour with Souled Out GM Eric Bischoff, Randy Orton became the challenger by default. Although Bischoff claims he 'defeated' RVD by outlasting him.
The lines were drawn between Orton and Savage with a Triple Cage at Survivor Series the battle ground. With Bischoff supporting ReVolution member Orton and Savage being mysteriously supported by former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, the outcome of this match is anyone's guess.
