It's mathematically impossible to beat aging, scientists say

Eternal youth is one of the greatest obsessions of mankind. But you will grow old, live with it.
Researchers Joanna Masel and Paul Nelson from the University of Arizona, developed a model that proved it’s mathematically impossible to halt aging in multi-cellular organisms like humans. Nelson said. By getting rid of the poorly functioning cells, cancer cells are able to proliferate better. This means that whether it’s by cancer or run-of-the-mill cell destruction, aging and death is mathematically inescapable.
