A Virginia Tech football fan gave a young supporter attending Hokies’ 59-7 victory over the University of North Carolina on Saturday, October 21, a game to remember when he gave him a Virginia Tech shirt.Roanoake resident Brandon Jarrell gave a shirt to a young fan after he promised him he wouldn’t come back to his seat empty-handed. In a video shared to Facebook, Jarrell tells the boy to “wear it to every game you go to – until you grow out.”Speaking to local media, Jarrell said that he wasn’t aware he was being filmed but hopes it inspires others to do good.Radford resident Wallace Andrus shared a clip of the kind gesture to Facebook on October 21.
