We have been trying at Surreal Sculptures to obtain a Merchant Account so we can process credit card orders for our sculptures and figurines. Currently, I've been shot down by Shopify.com, PayPal.com and eMerchant.com. The hell with it. I'm going to do what FETLIFE is doing: WON'T ACCEPT credit cards. Trust me, it would be alot easier if I could accept credit cards. But I don't want to have to create boring, mediocre bdsm and bondage art in order to satisfy the credit card companies.
