Julia Roberts Refers to Herself as 'Selfish Little Brat' in Her 20s

Julia Roberts got her start as a Pretty Woman, but now she seems much more about self-reflection than the reflection in the mirror.
The actress tells Harper’s Bazaar U.K. about her early days in Hollywood, saying “I was my priority; a selfish little brat running around making films.”
Of course, the 49-year-old has had an enormously successful career, but she attributes her accomplishments to much more than just herself. She tells the magazine about her main inspiration, her husband Danny Moder.
Roberts says, “It was meeting Danny… Finding my person. When I think about what makes my life my life, and makes sense and just shine inside of me, it’s him… Everything has come from that for me.”
Also, Roberts admits that she continues to be very picky about the roles she plays on screen, and prioritizes her family life ahead of just doing any old movie that comes her way.
Whatever Roberts is doing, obviously it’s paying off.
