Tesla is helping Hurricane Irma victims escape the storm. The automaker pushed a software release that will extend battery life for drivers fleeing Hurricane Irma. The extension will affect the Model S and Model X cars increasing their 60 kwh battery to 75 kwh. That extra capacity is about 30 miles extra of driving!
