Marcellus Williams' scheduled execution put on halt

Marcellus Williams' scheduled execution was just halted after DNA raised questions about his case. Only hours before he was set to be put to death Gov. Eric Greitens issued a stay of execution via email. Williams was convicted of fatally stabbing ex-reporter Lisha Gayle during a 1998 home burglary. The decision came after DNA evidence found the murder weapon matched an unknown person.
