So here comes my first foray into making fake movie trailers. Back in the late 80s, Marvel Comics produced a double length story entitled "Triumph and Torment", in which Doctor Strange and Doctor Doom competed in a magic contest to see who would be crowned the Sorcerer Supreme. Doctor Strange wins the contest, but in doing so, he's forced to grant a boon to the second place winner---that being Doom. And in a surprising twist, Doctor Doom enlists Strange's help to travel to Hell itself to rescue the soul of Doom's mother from the evil clutches of the demon Mephisto. Ever since discovering it, it's become one of my favorite comic book stories ever.

Imagining how awesome this story would be for a movie, I decided to take it upon myself to conjure up a fantasized movie trailer. I took as many clips as I could, and tried to use them in new creative ways. So if there's something you recognize here.....just play pretend. ;) As of this video, this is, by far, the MOST complicated editing I've EVER done, in terms of clips, music, timing, and sound mixing, and for this reason, it's the video I'm most proud of.
