Pt. 4: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5wltfv "Wings of the Pacific" (Taiheiyou no Tsubasa) is a Japanese-made WWII produced in 1963. The plot features a Japanese air commander attempting to assemble an elite fighter squadron in a desperate attempt to regain air superiority near the end of the war.
The movie is fiction, loosely based off the real story of the 343rd Air Group which was an elite fighter squadron assembled by Japanese Navy Captain Minoru Genda under the same circumstances in the movie. Genda's character is portrayed by Commander "Senda" in the movie.
Note: "Sikorsky" is what the Japanese called the F4U Corsair. I believe it is because they initially misidentified it as an fighter produced my Sikorsky aircraft.
