A teenage German girl who ran away from home to join ISIS after converting to Islam, is now being held in detention in Iraq and has told a newspaper she wants to go home. “I just want to get away from here,” Linda Wenzel was quoted as saying by German newspaper Sueddeutsche Zeitung, which also said that she had married an ISIS fighter in Mosul. “I want to get away from the war, from the many weapons, from the noise.” The media outlets said the teenager had told them she regretted joining Isis, wanted to be extradited to Germany and would cooperate with authorities.
