President Trump: 'Let Obamacare Fail...I'm Not Going To Own It'

President Trump said 'let Obamacare fail' on Tuesday in the wake of the GOP health care bill not getting enough support.

President Trump reiterated his stance on Tuesday to "let Obamacare fail" after the GOP health care bill failed to gain enough support in the Senate.
According to CNN, he told reporters, "I think we are probably in that position where we'll let Obamacare fail. We're not going to own it. I'm not going to own it. I can tell you the Republicans are not going to own it. We'll let Obamacare fail and then the Democrats are going to come to us." Earlier in the day, Trump tweeted, "We were let down by all of the Democrats and a few Republicans. Most Republicans were loyal, terrific & worked really hard. We will return!"
The president added, "As I have always said, let ObamaCare fail and then come together and do a great healthcare plan. Stay tuned!"
His tweets come after two more Republican senators, Mike Lee and Jerry Moran, announced their opposition to the GOP proposal Monday night, effectively stalling the bill.
Subsequently, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell called for a vote to repeal Obamacare while noting that the replacement will be delayed.
However, the New York Times says it "has almost no chance to pass...since it could leave millions without insurance and leave insurance markets in turmoil."
