With a name like “Stairway to Heaven,” it’s no surprise that thousands of hikers can’t stay away from this illegal trail in Hawaii. The Haiku Stairs in Oahu have been closed for over 30 years due to safety concerns. The stairs, originally wooden, were built during World War II.
