"In this video, Pujya Niruma shares story from Prasannamuni and Mahavir Swami's time. A king renounced his kingdom to become a saint. Once, when he was meditating, he overheard someone that his son had lost his kingdom in a war. The former king was filled with fury, but then regained his composure and repented for his ill thoughts. All this time, he was sitting in a position of meditation, but his inner intents kept changing from one point in time to another.
The story signifies how inner intents and thoughts matter more than the external state of being. Any ill-thoughts, hatred and such other bad feelings in our heart can lead us to hell, whereas pure thoughts and our Soul's awareness can lead us to heaven or even to the state of salvation. External actions may be the same, but the inner state of being can make or break our karma. Watch this video to hear a small beautiful moral story and get insights on the science of inner intents.
