World's first waterpark for the disabled opens

The summer is a time to celebrate many things, like no school, warmer weather and birthdays. One of the nest places to celebrate is at a water park and Morgan's Inspiration Island is changing how those with disabilities access them. The tropical-themed park features six major attractions, including an accessible river boat ride and a wide variety of splash pads — surfaces with geysers, water cannons, and rain curtains. Perhaps most importantly, anyone with a disability gains free entry to the park! Morgan's Inspiration Island is the sister park to Morgan's Wonderland, a 25-acre, fully accessible theme park which opened in March 2010. The water park will be open daily throughout the summer until mid-August, and then on weekends in August and Sept
