"Mr. Denton On Doomsday" was written by Rod Serling, and directed by Allen Reisner, and hilariously the only information available about Mr. Reisner is that he is currently a tight-end for the Baltimore Ravens, which is obviously not the correct information, this would make him 27 years of age; it appears Mr. Reisner is incredibly long-lived, not unlike Walter Jameson in a later Twilight Zone episode.

Next up, we have Ida Lupino's remarkable, "The Sixteen-Millimeter Shrine", written by Serling, and directed by Mitchell Leisen, which premiered October 23rd of 1959. I call it Ida Lupino's episode, because there was never such a figure in contemporary television and cinema so perfectly cast for the role of Barbara Jean Trenton as Ida Lupino. Lupino was a movie star and a film director, the quintessential force in independent cinema in the 1950s and 1960s, as well as a pioneer for women in cinema, right up there with Leni Riefenstahl.
