'Friendly' sea lions surprise fishermen on boat

A cool video has emerged from Canada of fishermen feeding sea lions swimming behind their boat.

The footage, filmed off the coast of Ottawa on 5 May, shows the sea lions keeping pace with the boat and even clambering onboard to get a bite.

''These Sea Lions swam up and landed on the swim platform of our boat and begged for our remaining bait,'' the filmer later wrote online.

''They allowed us to feed them by hand and also touch and pet them.''

''They did not seem aggressive at all.Totally awesome,'' he added.
