This Memorial Day weekend, it was high tide for ‘Pirates of the Caribbean' but ‘Baywatch’ fell into shallow waters. Meanwhile, Dwayne Johnson’s reboot ‘Baywatch,' which took nearly $70 million to produce, gained only $18.1 million. Standing strong in its fourth weekend is ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,’ which took second place with $19.9 million. ‘Alien: Covenant’ dropped 71 percent after its opening weekend by bringing in $10.5 million.
