A Robin's nest with three hatchlings that was right outside one of my living room windows, which were being cared for by its protective parents. The parents were never too far away. I heard them calling when it realized I was standing by the window within arm's reach of its young. I figured I'd serenade them with an impromptu melody I'd been messing with.
