Hollywood fails to represent the LGBTQ community, again

GLAAD released a report on Thursday Out of 125 movie releases in 2016, only 18.4 percent had characters that identified as LGBTQ, rising one percent since 2015. Gay men was the largest represented group at 83 percent, while lesbians represented 35 percent and bisexuals at 13 percent of the tally. The report counted one character as transgender in the movie 'Zoolander 2,' who was only used as a punchline. GLAAD's President Sarah Kate Ellis
