3:18[SOT: Is mixed martial arts something that you want to do?
I’m just a fighter.]

That’s Floyd Mayweather outside of Catch restaurant in Los Angeles talking to the photogs about his potential matchup with Conor McGregor…

And even though we still don’t know if the bout is any closer to getting done… he seems to be happy pointing out that HE’S the face of the fight game.

3:30[SOT: All you gotta do is look up the numbers of boxing and look up the numbers of mma. And you’ll see who stands at the top.]

3:45[SOT: What I’m gonna say is this: I’ve never seen a mma fighter make 300 million in one night. I haven’t seen in. I haven’t seen a mma fighter make a hundred million in one night. I haven’t seen a mma fighter make 80 million in one night. I haven’t seen a mma fighter make 50 million in one night.]

But Floyd does go on to say he respects MMA.

4:20[SOT: I respect mma. That’s one thing I do. You can’t disrespect mma, you have to respect it. It’s a contact sport, it’s a brutal sport and I respect the sport, it’s a sport, it’s blood sweat and tears. I take my hat off to all those guys in mma that go out there and compete. It’s rough, it’s very very brutal. Me, myself, I was just very very smart with my career.]

The real question now: is fighting Conor McGregor smart for your career?

Guess only time will tell.
