Karam al-Masri, covering Syria through hunger and fear

For AFP photo and video journalist Karam al-Masri, the past five years have been a series of tragedies: emprisonment, the loss of his parents, the siege of Aleppo, hunger, torture and bombardment. Through it all, Karam has continued to cover the story of the ravaged city he calls home.
