A boy in India, with the birth defect polymelia, came out of the womb with four legs and two penises. Fortunately, his surgery to remove the extra appendages was successful and he will soon return home from Bangalore’s Narayan Health City. Polymelia is a result of environmental agents and chromosomal abnormalities. Often times it’s the result of the embryo developing conjoined twins and one of them stops growing, causing the other one to develop their limbs.
