Mets' Noah Syndergaard leaves Opening Day with blister on finger

Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard left his Opening Day start with a blister on his middle finger. Syndergaard said he picked up the blister in the second inning and tried to battle through it before leaving the game after the sixth inning. Syndergaard struck out seven in the 6-0 victory against the Braves. Noah Syndergaard Syndergaard's next start will be pushed back to Sunday and fifth rotation starter Robert Gsellman will fill in.
