Pharmacist Barry Cadden was acquitted for murder charges but found guilty on charges of fraud. Cadden was accused of causing the deaths of 25 patients who died from meningitis in 2012. The patients were injected with fungus-ridden steroids from his lab at the New England Compounding Center. While Cadden was found not guilty of murder, he was guilty of 52 racketeering, conspiracy, and mail fraud charges. His sentencing is set for June 21 and can face up to 20 years in prison.
