Hey, gym rats: Intense workouts may crush male libido

A new study at The University of North Carolina found that high-intensity workouts can lower the male libido. Out of the 1,110 male participants, those who worked out less intensely reported having more sexual desire. Scientists believe there is a 'tipping point' during exercise when men become exhausted and don't desire sex. Although there isn't a definitive correlation between the two just yet, physical tiredness could reduce testosterone levels. Fertility experts have even chimed in, saying that they may need to rethink the advice they give to couples trying to plan for a baby.
