This huge turtle weighing some 200kg lives in the Darwin Centre near Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island, with a few of its friends and has Lonesome George as a neighbour! This slow-moving animal with its rounded head is said to have inspired Steven Spielberg for his world-famous character......... E.T.! Don't you see the ressemblance??
