Asteroid set to fly between Earth and moon tonight

An asteroid is predicted to fly between the Earth and the moon tonight around 3:34 EST, only a few days after being discovered by scientists. The asteroid, which was initially spotted on Jan. 30, is approximately the size of a double-decker bus. Traveling at the rate 7.18 m/s, the asteroid is coming twice as close to the Earth as the moon. NASA predicts that it will be only 100,214 miles at its closest point to the planet.
