Snap, Inc. is testing "smarter lenses" that can interact with real-world objects and “identify environmental elements." The company hopes to expand its already existent lenses feature by integrating the ability to recognize objects using the rear view camera. The feature would be an advancement of the World Lenses feature that Snap first introduced last year. The release date is still unknown as the new lenses are only being tested on the company's internal version of the app.
