Berkeley blames rage on masked agitators before Milo Yiannopoulos event

Violent protests broke out across the University of California, Berkeley campus Wednesday night ahead of a planned speech by Milo Yiannopoulos. The university said "150 masked agitators" arrived on campus, disturbing what was a peaceful protest. UC Berkeley canceled the talks two hours before the event and evacuated the Breitbart editor out of safety concerns. Administrators said the agitators are part of an anarchist group known as the "Black Bloc" that have previously incited violence in Oakland. It is believed that at least six people were injured during the protests, which drew 1,500 people.
