Sanjay Dutt's Parole Gets Extended By Another 30 Days

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who is out on parole since December 21, 2013, has been granted another month's extension. Sanjay had applied for another month-long extension, to nurse his wife Maanayata Dutt, who is recovering post surgery, last week. Dutt had written to the Pune divisional commissioner, who granted him an extension till March 21. Dutt is presently serving the remaining 42 months of his sentence for possessing illegal weapons. As per rules, this would be the 53-year-old's last parole leave this year.
