High School Girl Bashed over the Head with a Metal Chair

Hedlund, 14, told she was eating her lunch in the cafeteria last Thursday when a classmate attacked her from behind, smashing the chair over her head.

Police said the fight started as a verbal argument.

Another classmate video taped the incident on a cell-phone.

The blow knocked Hedlund unconscious and left her with regular headaches.
