PITTSBURGH — Three students are planning to sue a Pittsburgh-area high school after they were threatened and beaten by school officers.

Lawyer Todd Hollis released surveillance footage of an incident at Woodland Hills High School from March of 2015, showing a then 15-year-old Ahmad Williams being grabbed and put in a chokehold by school resource officer Steve Shaulis, reports the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Williams is forced down a hallway and slammed to the ground. Principal Kevin Murray appears and holds the teen’s head down as the officer tases him three times before cuffing him.

He is then lifted off the ground by his handcuffs and led to an office, where Officer Shaulis reportedly continued to assault him.

Another student was verbally harassed by Principal Murray and managed to record the administrator threatening to punch him in the face.

Murray was put on leave in December but was reinstated in January.

The most recent incident in April shows 14-year-old Que’chawn Wade being questioned by a room full of adults, which includes Officer Shaulis.

After Wade walks out, Shaulis follows and reportedly calls him a vile name. He is then grabbed and put in a room without cameras.

There, he was thrown around and assaulted, and punched so hard his front teeth were knocked out.

Investigators are looking into the incidents after the kids’ lawyers went public with the shocking videos. But district superintendent Alan Henderson denies there is a pattern of abuse, claiming the incidents were isolated.
