So Friday a week ago, I sent out a tweet to everyone's favorite Australian Brown bear, linking my first sculpture video and asking him if he would like a sculpture of his avatar like the ones I've made for others and he said yes.
I spent part of my weekend making a very realistic bear sculpture with a very cartoonish head, brushing out the furry details and adding my own touch of artistic fervor. I finished the whole thing late Sunday night and was ready to start making the video when I realized that my still-frame files had all failed to save properly, the statue's nose was upside down, and my dry brush detail was lost to the polyurethane sealant.
Okay, no big deal, I thought; I can fix the nose, I got plenty of photos and a few real-time videos, and the dry brush details were a little too dark anyway. I thought; I'll just put it away until tomorrow, and figure it all out then....
The next day, my statue had lost all of its current relevance....
...damn.

Well, I'll miss the old guy, but at least his statue is finished.
If you have any suggestions for future sculptures, leave me a comment in the comment section below.
...and if you happen to be Bearing, contact me and we'll work out the best way for you to claim your statue... and seriously, thanks for the lolz...
