Maeve's great escape gets thwarted: After Bernard is healed post-suicide, he reveals to Maeve that her big escape plans are in fact an engineered storyline. "These violent delights have violent ends": The nature of Ford's mysterious new narrative was revealed at last: WAR. The narrative starts during the gala, when Dolores shoots Ford and members of the board. Dolores is Wyatt: While Teddy and the Man in Black have been searching for Wyatt, they had it all wrong, because Wyatt is actually Dolores — or really, Dolores is Wyatt. Dolores reaches the center of the maze: The maze is meant for one thing, and one thing only: to lead the robots, specifically Dolores, on a journey inward toward consciousness.
