The suspect who was killed in the midst of a Monday knife attack on the Ohio State campus is, according to NBC News, believed to be a refugee from Somalia.

The suspect who was killed in the midst of a Monday knife attack on the Ohio State University campus is, according to NBC News, believed to be a refugee from Somalia. 
It has also been suggested the individual was 18 years old, a legal U.S. permanent resident, a student, and lived near the campus. 
The incident, which began at around 10 o’clock in the morning, was originally reported as a shooting, notes The Telegraph.
Authorities later clarified that the assailant used a car and butcher knife, reports CNN.
In the short time that passed between the onset of the attack and the suspect being fatally shot by authorities, 9 students sustained injuries. 
According to CNN, "..investigators are trying to determine a motive, and whether the attack is terror-related."
