Tuk tuk clinics drive down teenage pregnancies in Uganda
  • 7 years ago
Uganda has one of the highest rates of teen pregnancy in the world, with 115 births per 1000 women aged between 15 and 19, according to UN estimates. But unique mobile health clinics - in the form of tuk tuks - are helping to drive down the numbers of pregnancies, delivering safe sex advice and contraception deep in the slums of Kampala and Entebbe.
