First female U.S. attorney general Janet Reno dies at 78

Janet Reno, the first woman who served as U.S. attorney general, has died at age 78.
Reno died due to complications with Parkinson's Disease, according to the Associated Press.
Reno became the first female attorney general on March 12, 1993, under the administration of Bill Clinton.
She remained in office longer than any other attorney general of the 20th century, holding her position until 2001.
