Suspension for Saving Fallen Asthma Student

Killeen Independent School District suspended Anthony Ruelas, an eighth grade student of Gateway Middle School, a behavioral alternative school, for two days for attending to a fallen female student choking and gasping due to asthma and carried her to the nurses station in another building. The teacher followed procedure to send an EMAIL to the nurses station.
