An annual cricket match which takes place effectively in the middle of the sea is held off the south coast of England. The Royal Southern Yacht Club (RSrnYC) played the Island Sailing Club on Bramble Bank, a sandbank in the Solent which is above sea-level at low tide. The Island Sailing Club beat the Royal Southern Yacht Club by just one run - 79 to 80.
