Ingredients:
150 gms Moong Dal 2 Cups Water 1 Cup Jaggery Cashews, chopped 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder Pinch of Salt 1 Cup Coconut Milk
Method:
- Heat a pan. Dry roast the moong dal till it changes color. - In the meanwhile heat some water. - Once the dal changes color add hot water. Mix well. - Let the dal get partially cooked. - Then add jaggery, cardamom powder and a pinch of salt. Mix well. - If the mixture becomes to thick add little water. - Let the jaggery melt completely. - Then add coconut milk. Mix everything well. Let everything come to a boil. - Delicious Moong Dal Kheer is ready to be served.
