Barack Obama and Recep Erdogan are having an emergency meeting on September

U.S. President Barack Obama will meet Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan during the G20 summit in China on September 4.
The White House said the aim of the meeting is to discuss strategies againstISIS and peace in Syria.
The US has condemned Turkey's push into areas in northern Syria, saying they are distracting from the fight against ISIS.
On Monday, Secretary of DefenseAsh Carter cautioned Turkish forces against advancing further southof the Syrian city of Jarablus and clashing with US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces.Obama's meeting is the latest in a string of high-level US officials' outreach to Turkish leaders.
