Snobbery, arrogance and egocentricity leads to anger. Islam should not be preached in such tone

ADNAN OKTAR: Some scholars believe that displaying knowledge and showing off will be very beneficial for Islam. Appearing on television, acting cocky, quarreling with people, showing off their knowledge, showing off how they can speak Arabic, Persian, English or how they have read a lot of books... But when you look at them, they have inauspicious expressions. What people seek is, sincerity, profound faith, and deep fear of God. This is what is truly effective. Snobbery, arrogance, egocentricity, sense of superiority, competitiveness; these will only give rise to anger, hatred and discomfort in people. It has an adverse effect in many people. But some temperate people may take the beneficial parts and cast aside what is unfavorable.
