Trump Tower Climber Videotaped Up-Close as He Scales Building

A man scaled the Trump Tower on Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue for more than two hours on Wednesday, August 10. The climber reportedly used suction cups to inch up the glass facade of the 58-storey building before the police and fire department broke a window pane on the 21st floor and pulled him in. This video, described as taken on the 18th floor of the Trump Tower, shows the climber up-close.A video was posted on YouTube titled “Message to Mr. Trump (why I climbed your tower)” on Tuesday featuring a man that looks very similar to the climber. The man, who introduced himself as an “independent researcher,” said his move was to get Trump’s attention. He called for netizens to “help this video go viral” and vote for Trump.
